SUMMARY:Lunch & Learn: When Your Business Becomes Your Biggest Trigger
DESCRIPTION:\nWhen Your Business Becomes Your Biggest Trigger: Understanding Attachment Patterns in Leadership\, Stress\, and Decision-Making \nIn our last presentation\, we talked about imposter syndrome and how self-doubt can activate our nervous system under pressure. We explored what happens in the body when we feel exposed\, uncertain\, or not enough. \nThis time\, we’re pulling the lens back even further. Because those stress responses did not start in your business. They were shaped much earlier. The experiences we had growing up helped form core beliefs about who we are\, how safe it is to be seen\, and what we need to do to feel secure or valued. \nWhen you run a business\, those same patterns often get activated. A slow month can feel deeply personal. Feedback can hit harder than it should. Delegating\, setting boundaries\, or raising prices can stir up more emotion than expected. \nThis presentation explores how early relationship patterns influence our nervous system\, our leadership style\, and the decisions we make under stress. Attendees will gain insight into why business can feel so personal and walk away with practical ways to lead with more steadiness and clarity. \n  \nPanelist Bio \n \n\nCandice Rousseau\, MSW\, BSW\, RSW\, Reflect Reset Renew Therapy Services \nCandice Rousseau is the founder of Reflect Reset Renew Therapy Services\, a group private practice in Niagara that supports individuals\, couples\, families\, and children as they navigate life’s challenges with compassion and authenticity. \nHer background includes years of experience in hospital and municipal social work\, alongside private practice\, allowing her to bring both clinical expertise and a practical\, relatable perspective to conversations about mental health and wellbeing. \nCandice is especially passionate about creating approachable and meaningful discussions that empower people to care for their mental health while building sustainable success in their personal and professional lives. Her work also looks beyond the individual\, recognizing the broader community and challenges faced in Niagara and beyond—and how these pressures impact mental health on a larger scale. \nRegister Here \n  \nZoom meeting information will be sent out the day before the meeting\, day of registrants will receive the link by 11:00am. \n
