Join the City of Port Colborne on Thursday, February 16th for an engaging workshop on how to start, fund and grow a small business. Hear from industry experts on how to create lean business plans for starting or expanding a business that will help you stay focused and inspire action. Discover sources of grant and loan funding for your business, including insider tips on how lenders assess the credit worthiness of a small business. Lastly, learn about the funding and support available through Port Colborne’s Digital Service Squad.
This workshop is ideal for anyone who has a business idea, is in the process of starting a small business or has an existing small business they are trying to grow. This workshop will be delivered in partnership with the Niagara Falls Small Business Enterprise Centre and Venture Niagara.
Laptop computers are not required for this class, but we recommend bringing along a notebook and pen.
This workshop is a mask-friendly event. Masks are not absolutely required, but we encourage all participants to wear a face mask for their own safety, and the safety of the instructor and workshop organizers.
