The Ontario Chamber of Commerce (OCC) offers wage subsidies of up to $5,000 to help businesses anywhere in Canada hire a post-secondary student on paid work-integrated learning (WIL) placements (e.g. co-ops, internships) through their Talent Opportunities Program (TOP).
Employers who hire students on WIL placements report benefits such as:
- Support for short-term workflow pressures
- Access to the latest learnings
- Improved productivity and service delivery
- Early access to talent pipelines
The OCC is accepting wage subsidy applications for the Fall 2026 (Sept-Dec) term and Winter 2027 term (Jan-Mar).
Funding for this program is limited and spots fill up quickly, so we encourage you to apply soon. Click the link below to apply or visit the OCC’s website for more information here.
