The South Niagara Chambers of Commerce hosted a webinar on human trafficking prevention in the Niagara Region. A representative from the Niagara Regional Police Service shared insights and statistics on this critical issue. Attendees also reviewed the draft Code of Conduct for Human Trafficking Prevention, developed by TOES Niagara and Brock University with funding from WAGE Canada. The Code aims to set proactive standards for the hospitality and tourism sectors to help prevent human trafficking.
