A safety clothing manufacturer in Niagara Falls is donating enough material for more than 50 seamstresses to sew about 32,000 face masks during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“By the time we’re done, they’ll be donated (to people in need),” said Lyse Moreau, owner and president of International Sew-Right Co.
She said so far, a group of 55 women are volunteering their time to the project and will be working out of their own homes.
“They continue to come, and we continue to cut for them,” said Moreau.
