Fort Erie’s Signature Black Cat Gala Goes Digital for 2020

Fort Erie, ON (November 10, 2020) Just when you thought there were enough cat references on the internet, the annual Black Cat Gala Auction is undergoing a digital makeover for the year 2020. The online auction will run from November 23rd to December 4th, 2020.
The Greater Fort Erie Chamber of Commerce is committed to ensuring Fort Erie students continue to receive support, especially during the Coronavirus pandemic.
“Tuition and books were expensive before the COVID-19 pandemic affected families, it is now more cumbersome.” Dolores Fabiano, Executive Director of the Greater Fort Erie Chamber of Commerce stated. “We want to do everything we can to assist the youth of Fort Erie with their post-secondary endeavours.”
The Black Cat Gala Auction, sponsored by Miller’s Auto Recycling and Circle P Paving, is in its 15th year. The gala has raised over $100,000 for the chamber’s bursary award program.
“The community has always been generous supporting our gala,” Fabiano shared. “I am confident the Fort Erie community will continue to support its students.”
