  • OFFICIAL BALLOT Port Colborne-Wainfleet Chamber of Commerce Board of DirectorsThe following individuals, all members in good standing with the Port Colborne-Wainfleet Chamber of Commerce, have been duly nominated, and have agreed to stand for nomination. Four (4), three (3) year terms and one (1) year term are available. Vote for four (4) candidates and return to the Port Colborne-Wainfleet Chamber of Commerce no later than 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 1st, 2021. Those with the highest number of votes will receive the 3 year terms. (* indicates a current Director seeking re-election)

  • * Marisa Brown, Career Curriculum Specialist, Brock University: Marisa is currently the Career Curriculum Manager, Co-op, Career & Experiential Education at Brock University. She has been involved with the Port Colborne Wainfleet Chamber of Commerce since 2018 and would be honoured to continue to serve. She has also been an active member of the Niagara community through her volunteer work as former Vice-Chair of Niagara Connects, founding committee member of Random Acts of Kindness Day with the Niagara Community Foundation and an alumnus of Leadership Niagara. Further, she is an advocate of supporting local business – especially in Port Colborne and Wainfleet where there continues to be innovation and growth.
  • * Neville Kidd, Senior Account Manager, Commercial Banking, Desjardins: Neville Kidd has had an exciting entrepreneurial path. In 2014, as a resident of Wainfleet, he opened Concessi’s Long Beach Market and Diner. He also owned and operated Kidd Westbridge Group Inc. in Beijing China for over 7 years, helping people immigrate to Canada.  Upon returning from China, he has been employed in the financial services industry since 2003 holding various positions at banks and credit unions.  He is currently a Senior Account Manager, Commercial Banking for Desjardins Financial. Neville has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from Brock University, and completed a certified financial planner program at Mohawk College.  Neville is the current President of the Port Colborne-Wainfleet Chamber of Commerce
  • * Sarah Lacharity, Sales Representative, Raw Materials Co. Inc & International Marine Salvage Inc.: Born and raised in Port Colborne, Sarah has a unique perspective and in depth understanding of the city and community. For over 10 years, Sarah has been a Sales Representative for Raw Materials Company and International Marine Salvage. Through her work she has been able to take part in several philanthropic initiatives to help local schools and hospitals. Sarah has been an active member of the Port Colborne-Wainfleet Chamber Board, having served on different committees and currently sits as Past President.
  • Jeffrey Steen, Manager of Employment & Training Programs, Port Cares: Jeff Steen is a seasoned executive with nearly 20 years’ experience in training and program development with a focus on the hospitality sector. Jeff joined Port Cares this past spring as the Manager of Employment & Training Programs having previously led Part-Time Studies & Corporate Training Service at Niagara College’s Canadian Food and Wine Institute. Prior to that Jeff served as the Manager of Applied Learning at George Brown. Jeff holds a Masters of Education from Central Michigan University and specializes in Training and Development, Industrial Design and Online Learning.
  • * Len Stolk, Owner, Stolk Construction: Len Stolk joined the family business in 1989 after earning a degree from McMaster University. Throughout his 20+ years with Stolk Construction Len has managed all aspects of the business. His desire to grow; while keeping the customer at the forefront of all management decisions has resulted in tremendous success. As the current President of Stolk Construction, Len continues to look for innovative ways to enhance the company structure and offerings. Len has served on the Board of Directors of the United Way of South Niagara, Rotary Club, and Pelham Minor Hockey Association. Len has been an active member of the Port Colborne-Wainfleet Chamber Board, having served as President.
