With over 35 years of Chamber management experience, Dolores is a seasoned leader in
economic development, community engagement, and organizational growth. As Executive Director of the South Niagara Chambers of Commerce, she brings deep institutional knowledge, a proven track record of building strategic partnerships, and a passion for empowering local businesses.
Throughout her career, Dolores has successfully led multiple Chambers through times of growth and transformation—implementing innovative programs, expanding membership, increasing revenue, and strengthening the Chamber’s role as a regional economic driver. Known for her
collaborative leadership style, she works closely with business leaders, government officials, and community stakeholders to advance policies and initiatives that foster a strong, resilient local economy.
Driven by a commitment to service, Dolores continues to champion the mission of the Chamber: to connect, promote, and support the businesses and communities it serves.

Shelby Hemingway joins the South Niagara Chambers of Commerce as Events Coordinator, bringing a passion for community engagement and a strong background in event planning and coordination. In this role, Shelby is responsible for organizing and executing a wide range of events that support local businesses, foster connections, and enhance the vibrancy of the community.
With experience in planning corporate functions, networking events, and community initiatives, Shelby is known for her attention to detail, creativity, and ability to deliver seamless, memorable experiences. She is committed to creating opportunities for members to connect, collaborate, and grow.
Prior to joining the Chamber, Shelby worked with various not for profits, where she developed skills in project management, communications, and stakeholder engagement. Her enthusiasm for building relationships and supporting local economic development makes her a valuable addition to the team.

As the Administrative Assistant at our South Niagara Chambers of Commerce, Marilu serves as the organizational backbone of the Chamber’s daily operations. With a strong focus on efficiency, communication, and attention to detail, Marilu provides vital support to the Chamber team, members, and community partners.
She manages a wide range of administrative functions including scheduling, correspondence, member services, and database management. Marilu’s professionalism and commitment to customer service help ensure that Chamber operations run smoothly and that members receive timely, accurate assistance.
Before joining the Chamber in 2023, Marilu used her talents as a lawyer in Mexico. Known for her friendly demeanor and problem-solving mindset, Marilu contributes to a welcoming and productive environment for all who interact with the Chamber.

Jaimie is the Director of Communications for the South Niagara Chambers of Commerce, where she develops and executes strategic messaging to support the Chamber’s mission of fostering local business growth, economic development, and community engagement. With expertise in writing, branding, and public relations, Jamie helps ensure the Chamber’s voice is clear, consistent, and impactful across all platforms.
In this role, Jaimie manages a variety of communications initiatives, including newsletters, social media content, website updates, and event promotions. Her work strengthens the Chamber’s connection with its members, stakeholders, and the wider community by highlighting key programs, initiatives, and advocacy efforts.
Jaimie brings a thoughtful, audience-focused approach to every project. She is skilled at translating complex ideas into accessible, engaging content that aligns with the Chamber’s strategic goals.
Jaimie has worked with a range of public- and private-sector clients on communication strategies that drive visibility and results. Passionate about community development and collaboration, she is proud to support the Chamber’s efforts to create a thriving local economy.

Alayna is a dedicated Video Content Producer for the South Niagara Chambers of Commerce, where she specializes in crafting compelling visual stories that highlight local businesses, and community initiatives. With a strong background in video production, editing, and storytelling, Alayna plays a key role in advancing the Chamber’s mission to promote business growth and community engagement.
Combining technical expertise with a creative eye, Alayna produces a wide range of multimedia content—from business spotlight videos and event coverage to social media campaigns and promotional series. Her work helps amplify the voices of local entrepreneurs, attract investment to the region, and enhance the Chamber’s digital presence.
