Your Chamber of Commerce always endeavors to be here to help you, our members, should you need a sounding board, a suggested strategy, or just some assistance maneuvering through the twists and turns we are now facing with COVID-19 and its ultimate aftermath.
The COVID pandemic and business shutdowns were sudden. Less than one month ago, we were fairly optimistic about our futures and the economy. Today, we all have many questions. As it turns out, we need each other more now than ever to maintain our careers and businesses as best we can.
Today more than ever, our Chambers understand and appreciate the importance of member interdependence as a way and means to best carry on and seek out underlying opportunity. For these reasons, we are all members to participate in an online-video Mastermind meeting programme. Otherwise known as Peer Advisory Groups (PAG’s), registered participants will be placed in groups of no greater than 8 team members. Each team will be moderated by a facilitator and the agenda will be structured in attempt to maximize exchange of thoughts, advice and information. Your moderator will also be attentive to allowing everyone equal chance at sourcing comments related to their respective key issues of the day.
How it Works
Each PAG team will consist of non-competing businesses and selected to have a diverse range of business knowledge and backgrounds.
All discussions are to be kept strictly confidential and each participant will share at their discretion information points about their organization.
Meetings will be held via Zoom video chats at the same time and same day of each week. Consistent participation is needed such that all members advance together in terms of understanding the issues and needs of other individuals on the team.
Your moderator will determine if the group wishes a member to be excused due to lack of or improper participation.
What it is Not
This format is not structured for the purposes of business leads or for the “pitching” of products/services to fellow members.

In true Mastermind philosophy, each member brings a diverse career history of knowledge, skills and experiences. By contributing suggestions and comments to the business issues of fellow team members, you are enriched by exercising your:
Problem solving capabilities,
Ability to empathically understand and support others, and,
Capability to draw from past experiences to identify best solutions.
In essence, the more one contributes to the benefit of others, the more one will get. The exponential brainpower of a team will be the power needed for everyone to move forward with greater clarity of issues, solutions and strategic direction. More than ever, our Chamber members need to work through these challenging pandemic times.
