A Letter from Candace Laing to Canadian Business Leaders

Canada-U.S. trade talks have reached an impasse, and we find ourselves in new and uncharted territory. 

“Canadian businesses have shown remarkable resilience under immense pressure, and they will not relent now,” says Candace Laing. “This will get tougher, but we know Canada can navigate it, if we’re united.”

 Our focus now turns to the response: protecting Canadian businesses, workers and families and ensuring support reaches those who need it most.  

 As always, it’s leaders on the front lines that are champions in national crises.
