The Meridian Small Business Big Impact (SBBI) Awards are back, and nominations are now open.
Each year, the awards recognize Ontario businesses and non-profit organizations that are making a meaningful difference in their communities through innovation, environmental stewardship, inclusive employment practices, community support and other impactful initiatives. Meridian is awarding $250,000 to organizations across Ontario, including twenty $10,000 community awards and a $50,000 Ontario Votes Award.
Spotlight on Indigenous Businesses and Organizations
As part of this year’s program, we’re excited to once again recognize outstanding Indigenous entrepreneurship through the Indigenous Entrepreneur Category. Four $10,000 awards will be presented to Indigenous-owned businesses and organizations that are making a positive impact in communities across Ontario through innovation, environmental stewardship, Indigenous perspectives, inclusive employment, and community leadership. We are proud to build on the success of previous Indigenous recipients who continue to strengthen communities and create lasting impact.
