Several updates from the provincial government were shared today which are all included in the media release below and are linked for more information.
Some highlights include:
· Provincial state of emergency expires February 9 and is not being extended
· Provincial Stay-at-Home order has been amended and will now expire February 16 for Niagara
· The provincial shutdown will transition to a revised COVID-19 Response Framework (the one we were using prior to shutdown) on February 16
· Ontario is introducing an “emergency brake” to allow for immediate action if a public health unit region experiences rapid acceleration in COVID-19 transmission or if its health care system risks becoming overwhelmed which could result in a region being place into the grey/lockdown level of the framework
