Regional Development Program: Advanced Manufacturing and Innovation Competitiveness Stream

The Ontario government is excited to be hosting an informational webinar about Ontario’s Advanced Manufacturing and Innovation Competitiveness (AMIC) funding program that provides financial support to advanced manufacturing companies across Ontario with a focus on small and medium-sized enterprises. AMIC’s third intake round is currently open and will close on March 16, with funding decisions expected by June 14.

Join one of our upcoming webinars to find out how Ontario-based manufacturers can access this fund to make investments in technology, equipment, or skills and help make Ontario’s manufacturing sector more globally competitive. This provincial funding opportunity offers up to 15% in funding to help offset eligible project costs for investments over $500,000 and for projects with a 3-to-4-year timeline.

About AMIC:

Ontario’s Advanced Manufacturing and Innovation Competitiveness (AMIC) funding opportunity is administered by the Ministry of Economic Development Job Creation and Trade. It offers 15% funding to support eligible projects with an investment value over $500,000 and with a project duration of 3 to 4 years. This is a province-wide funding opportunity that targets eligible manufacturers across Ontario.

AMIC is now accepting applications.

The current application window is open until Thursday, March 16, 2023.  The next application window opens on July 20, 2023.
